Wildwood Building Co. is a qualified general contractor with expert capability and skill to easily distribute, delegate, and manage the many areas encompassing a construction project from site development and architectural design to contracting complete construction operations. Wildwood Building Co. specializes in custom and production housing, as well as commercial office, retail, hospitality and medical projects.
Wildwood Building Co. is owned and operated by Daryl Wilder of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. Daryl is a third generation building contractor. He began building custom homes with his father's company at a young age. His responsibilities in his family's business evolved from sweeping the floors and keeping the job site clean, to eventually running and managing the project from start to finish. His experience earlier in life has been very beneficial to his career now as a general contractor, due to the fact his father was a hands on builder, doing everything from the foundation to the finish work. This taught Daryl the trade craft of building, rather than just the theory of management.
Daryl eventually left his family's company to go work as a division manager for a production building company that does over 25 million annual sales volume. Daryl ran the Tri-Cities Washington division, overseeing on average 20-30 homes at a time. It was with this company that Daryl learned many of his construction management skills and began to develop ways to improve.
When Daryl started Wildwood Building Company, he blended the skills and philosophies of his life experiences, both custom and production. The management of each project is conducted in a production style format, placing large emphasis on schedule tracking and budget controlling, yet holding true to quality and design. |
